Mt. Pleasant, Michigan – Over the weekend of February 14 and 15, Vardar North’s U12 Boys team won the championship at the 2010 CMU SoccerFest Indoor Tournament. Congratulations boys and Coach Liviu!

Vardar North 96 Girls finished the NSR tournament with a 4-0-0 record to win their group and take home the trophy. Congratulations to Coach Etienne and the girls!

Reza’s knowledge, passion, and organizational skills are unmatched in Michigan.

His responsibilities, among others, will be working directly with all coaches to enhance the quality of soccer in our club. Reza’s expertise will enable us to improve our players’ tactical understanding of the game of soccer.

As Reza himself said, “my main goal for this club is simply to improve the quality of coaching”.

Reza is the former Vardar North boys Head Coach, and the very first Head Coach hired for the Vardar North Soccer Club. Reza has earned these licenses; Premiere International Diploma/NSCAA and B license/USSF. In addition, he is the former Head Men’s Soccer Coach at Saginaw Valley State University and Nouvel Catholic Central High School.

We are looking forward to working with Reza and giving him all the resources possible to make our club one of the best clubs in Michigan.

Michigan Challenge Cup Champs

After losing the opening game 2-0 to the Purple Cats, the U12 girls came back to beat the Michigan Jaguars 98 White 6-0. They met the CW3 Extreme 98 White in their next match, winning 7-4 and earning a spot in finals.

The finals turned out to be a rematch with the Cats. But this time, the girls pulled through with a 2-0 win for the championship. Congratulations to Coach Walker and the girls!

Vardar North U-13 Boys dominate the Fusion Invitational Tournament in Midland on August 29th.  They beat the Fusion, Chill SBC, 2 overtime periods to beat RSC Lightning White, and the Championship game beating Clarkston Impact White 4-1!  Congratulations to the U-13 team and Coach Adrian.

U12 Michigan Soccer Classic Champions

The U-12 Boys Vardar North Soccer Team took 1st place in the Michigan Soccer Classic over Memorial Day Weekend Coached by former Trinidad National player, Adrian Thomas. On Sunday, May 31, 2009, the team completed their last game in the U-12 Red Division of the Mid-Michigan Youth Soccer League, with an undefeated record of 10-0-0, 60 goals scored with only 7 goals scored against them! The team is made up of soccer players wanting to excel at state and national levels and represent the following Tri-City middle schools; White Pine, Handy, Western, Christa McAuliffe, Freeland and St. Brigids.

Vardar North 92 Girls win 2007 Vardar Cup

The Vardar-North U16 Girls defeated Vardar-Elite to win the Vardar Cup held September 1-3, 2007 in Saginaw.

In their preliminary games they played Michigan Rush Nike , London City Flash and Novi Jaguars to make it to the finals in the tournament. Congratulations to the girls and Coach Drago and Coach MacMillan on a job well done.
