After endless consideration and numerous requests from players and parents alike, Vardar North will embark on building a Girls College Showcase team for the Spring 2010 season. This is not meant in any way to detract from the strong high school community ties which exist in the Tri-Cities. It is an attempt to fulfill the requests of players and families in the area. As a club we have taken the time to explain why and how this will be achieved.
These players have expressed an increased desire to exhibit their talents in the presence of an audience which primarily consists of college coaches. Thereby giving them what they view as being the best opportunity to gain entry to playing at the collegiate level. This team will be involved in tournaments nationwide where the players will be exposed to countless college coaches and recruiters. They will also be competing against some of the best players and teams in the country.
Vardar North is in no way guaranteeing athletic scholarships. As a club we will ensure that players are appropriately and adequately prepared to showcase their talents before their desired audience.
An open tryout will be conducted and anyone is welcome to attend. We would like to thank all in advance for their support.
