This last Saturday evening, 5/1/2010, at approximately 10:30 PM we lost a great member of our soccer community. Adam Puvalowski was a very talented soccer player who was supposed to graduate from Nouvel Catholic Central High School in a few weeks. He was recruited by SVSU to play soccer starting this fall. However, his life was cut short as he was killed in a car accident on the way home. Our soccer community lost a great friend and a role model. Adam touched many lives during his short life. Those of us who were fortunate enough to know him enjoyed his friendship, sense of humor, and his relentless effort to improve his soccer skills. He will be greatly missed.

In his honor and to celebrate his short life we have planned a charity soccer game. Friends, former coaches and teammates will play a game in Adam’s honor under the lights on Field 3 of the Saginaw Township Soccer Complex, 3575 McCarty Road at 7 p.m. with the kickoff at 7:45 p.m. Thursday. Please attend this game to pay your respects to Adam. A scholarship has been established under Adam’s name and you may contribute $25.00 to this fund or his funeral expenses once you attend the game. A flyer with more game details is available here as a PDF.
